Me and my better half had visited Paris in August 2006 but we were not very impressed with the accommodation and when we decided to visit Paris again last year, we were both determined to find a good accommodation and one that did not really burn a hole in our pocket. We did some research on the internet to look for budget hotels that offered decent accommodation. Luckily, we came across Timhotel Paris Gare De L Est Paris and it had some good reviews from previous guests who had stayed at the hotel. So, without any second thoughts, we decided to book Timhotel Paris Gare De L Est and indeed, our decision to stay at this hotel was a good one.
Timhotel Paris Gare De L Estis located aptly quite close to the Gare du Nord as well as the Gare de la railway stations. This budget hotel was indeed just the right one for our family vacation. Our hotel is a part of the much popular Timhotel chain. It was a 53 room hotel. All the guestrooms in our hotel were well air-conditioned and offered some swank amenities which included modish en suite bathroom, flat-screen TV as well as complimentary Wi-Fi connectivity. During our stay at the Timhotel Paris Gare De L’ Est, we were served with mouth watering buffet breakfast.
When we were searching for a good budget hotel in Paris, we were quite overwhelmed seeing the number of cost-effective hotels that had sprung in the city in the recent few times. Indeed, making a choice was extremely difficult but we were lucky enough to get accommodation at this hotel. The location of our hotel was such that both the metro stations in the vicinity were at a walking distance from the hotel. Also, there were several bus lines and other metro stations nearby so the location of the hotel was simply ideal to visit all tourist sites in the city. The lobby as well as the breakfast room was small in size but this was only typical of Parisian hotel. The room that we were put in was amazingly big and also spotless and clean. The bathroom was also pretty decent and the hotel staff members present at the reception area was quite welcoming and extremely friendly. The breakfast served was fresh and tasted great.
Considering the price that we were paying for our stay at this hotel, I was much impressed by the room decor, size as well as the amenities and facilities made available to us. There was free WiFi, flat –screen TV, hair dryer and other amenities. The room was perfect and it overlooked the magnificent Eiffel Tower which is the key attraction of Paris. On a few occasions, we would hear church bells from nearby Cathedrals and the sounds were truly mystical. The hotel was in a safe location and we never felt uncomfortable even when venturing out late in the night. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris on a budget.
