Having heard of some great travel stories about Paris from my friends, me and my better half finally decided to tour this beautiful French city though we were apprehensive about the accommodation budget. However, we thankfully got an affordable hotel to say. We had already read Franklin Roosevelt Hotel reviews online and found the room tariff to be pretty affordable. So, we decided to go ahead and book Franklin Roosevelt hotel.
Franklin Roosevelt hotel was located in the iconic 6th Arrondissement on the Left Bank. Indeed, we were quite impressed by its sheer elegance and beauty. Our 3-star hotel offered us a stunning outdoor courtyard, a cozy and well-stocked bar, a well equipped fitness room and several other amenities. The courtyard outside our hotel was decorated by artworks by the renowned Antonio Nocera. This 38-room hotel had all its guestrooms well air-conditioned rooms. Each of the rooms in our hotel featured superior quality wood beams, goose-down bedding, complimentary WiFi connectivity, spacious en suite bathrooms and a minibar. The rooms in this hotel either offered the street view or of the beautiful courtyard inside.
During our stay, we were served by sumptuous buffet breakfast every morning the hotel’s extremely courteous and helpful staff. We were also pleased by the fact that there was ample public parking space available and also our hotel was easily reachable from all nearby airports in the city. We had booked this hotel after going through some previous reviews by guests. And indeed, the hotel and its services did live up to our expectations. The location of this property was excellent, the staff at the hotel were quite helpful and extremely professional. The rooms at our hotel were decorated in an amazing way and so were the bathroom. Indeed, this hotel proved to be great value for money, at least for Paris standards. The breakfast that we treated ourselves to every morning was simply lip-smacking. The room provided to us were not just affordable but also quite comfortable. We had a booking for 3 rooms and all of these were well decorated and were simply perfect. We also loved the fact that internet connectivity was absolutely free.
Our hotel was only at a 5 minutes walking distance from the Champs Elysees while the Avenue Montaigne and the Avenue George V were only 2 minutes of walking distance from the hotel. I also was impressed by the hotel décor, which was replete with rich-looking, dark stained wooden and vibrant checked fabrics. Indeed, everything inside the hotel was completely functional and absolutely clean. The showers in the bathroom had good water pressure. The beds were very comfortable and cozy so we would love to stay put in the bed. The air-conditioning was impeccable and never did we complain of too cold or hot temperature.
The staff at the hotel could speak fluent English and this proved to be of great help to us since none of us were really good at speaking French.
